Replacement item

I like BJs as well as, if not better than Sams, but they are a far cry from Costco. Struggled with the repair/replacement of our 18 month old 86 LG TV.

They gave me so much grief as I started the process, but then eased up as they realized we were in the right.

However, their resolution process is painfully slow. So I wouldnt get too excited about doing any major purchases with them going forward.

I returned an item in club December 26. I have yet to receive a refund January 10.

But I got an email today saying that my return approval would end if I did not get the item back to them. So right away I tried to reach out to them. The chat technology is horrendous. I was able to communicate enough for the rep to say they would research the return and get back to me within 2 -3 days.

I thought that had to be a mistake. So I found a telephone number and went through the same process. I could barely understand her English. Early on she asked the location of the store I returned the item to.

I responded Madison, Alabama. I could not believe her next question. What state is Alabama in? In disbelief I asked to speak to someone who lived in this country.

That was denied. She ignored me. I had to help her to understand that Alabama is a state in the United States. After a long interaction, she said that I would get an email over the next several days.

What is wrong with these people? I am glad that I am holding onto my return receipt of sorts. I say that because the staff in-store are so poorly trained. When I returned the item it took forever.

It seemed as if the person was reading instructions on how to do a return. The receipt that I got looked like instructions for staff. Very weird. BJ has nothing that I want.

The quality of goods are generally substandard in my opinion except for the regular branded items. I realized my mistake in getting a membership early on and went to the service desk to have my membership refunded and terminated. The rep begged me to keep it a while longer until this anew store could settle down. I did that.

I have gone in there twice to spend the $40 reward and have come out empty handed. I think that the issue is not that this is a new store. I think the brand is just another Walmart kind of store. When I went in the day after Christmas it was so empty you could have bowled the aisles.

Compare that to Costco that is always jammed packed. And guess what; Costco knows how to do customer service. Learn something BJ.

Where is my money? Take your membership.

Customer service is *** bad mobile no Bady controller all cashiers they do what what they want they dont have an experience supervisors I dont have no experience they dont give a damn to the customer. If you spoke to somebody, they dont care if they see you from 10 feet no hi or how are you?

I would help you here and this cashier. No I dont give a dumb *** zero customer service.

I’m on hold to see if my order will be completed I told the representative if they don’t send me the part that is missing the BJ’s could come and pick up the whole sectional I didn’t order 3/4 of a sectional. I ordered a whole one.

I was not able to get a live person so I always have to contact the chat line. These employees have been very nice but as stated I have never had an opportunity to talk to a person. And I’ve had to chat on line several times. I am an elderly person, I am computer savvy , but what about the people who cannot use a computer or their iPhone to resolve their issues.

It was a horrible experience. I purchased a computer laptop online on Cyber Monday. They sent me a used computer, more specifically a demo/floor model. It was dirty and scratched and unacceptable. I'm so angry about my experience that I will never purchase again from BJ's. The customer service lady I spoke with had me on the phone for over 20 minutes and I still got no satisfaction. First of all there was a huge language barrier and she ask me what did I want her to do about it! So then I went on the chat and had to explain a second time to that attendant. She understood my frustrations and disappointment. I was told that someone would be calling me to discuss my experience. I'm not holding my breath and I seriously doubt it went any further than that conversation with customer service.
